Aniseed Myrtle and Coconut Slice

Ingredients:

250 gms sweet plain biscuits

125 gms butter melted

3/4 cup desiccated coconut

1/2 can condensed milk

5 gms Aniseed Myrtle

Icing:

2 cups icing sugar

1 1/2 tbsp butter melted

1/2 cup lemon juice to taste

Aniseed myrtle – If you wish

Method:

1. Crush Biscuits and mix in Coconut – try not to crush the Biscuits too fine.

2. Add Aniseed Myrtle and mix.                    

3. Combine Melted butter and Condensed milk and add to dry mixture. Stir well.

4. Line your tray with baking paper and put your slice mixture in and press down evenly and set in the fridge for 1 hour or until set.

Icing:

Mix all icing ingredients and ice when cooled also if you have some Aniseed Myrtle leftover you can add it to your icing.

Tips:

You can add Lemon Myrtle or Wattleseed to make an entirely different slice.
